Pete Dooley

THE MAN
The Cape Hatteras Light House is referred to as "The Magnet" for its ability to draw waves to its pristine location, Pete Dooley has long been known as "THE Magnet". Ladies, we all know why.

THE STYLE
A true surfing "fashionista" Ed, as he is affectionately called by his (3) friends, has long set the standards in the surfing fashion world.

BIG WAVES
On the biggest surf days, Dooley is often one of the first on the beach. It is commonly recognized that Pete coined the phrase; "My back hurts, think I'll have to sit this one out, DANG!"

PRO SURFING ORIGINATOR
Mr. Dooley a long time pro surfing judge helped coin many of the phrases used on pro juging panels the world over:
• "Looks like he is dragging a lawn chair"
• "That was a high spray straighten out"
• "He just did a tupper ware burp"
• "Floppa Doppa!"
• "Anybody seen my clipboard?"

HIS WORK
Mr. Dooley is currently taking a free ride on his wife Debbie's considerable work ethic. He can often be found sleeping in a chair in the Natural Art shop.

HIS LIFE
The beach is Ed's life! On even the most mediocre of days he can be seen waxing and re-waxing his board on the beach complaining about his back pain.
